Greek tragedy

Greek tragedy - Albin Lesky, H.A. Frankfort, E.G. Turner A dry, scholarly - but utterly authoritative and masterful study of Greek tragedy -- both in general, and with a review of all the surviving tragedies and fragments by author. Lesky's History of Greek Literature, of course, is THE standard (and best) treatment of that topic - though it is dry and in no way "modern".
