The Corruption Of Capitalism: A Strategy To Rebalance The Global Economy And Restore Sustainable Growth - Richard Duncan Despite the fine reviews on amazon, and my admiration for much of what CLSA produces - this book is mediocre. There are some interesting graphs and charts, but the book suffers from the type of overwrought self-righteousness common among certain economics writers with an Austrian bent -- and without possessing the sheer intelligence that Faber or Napier possess. Worse -- much of what the author, writing in Dec. 2009, predicts... has ALREADY been falsified. He argues, e.g., that the US will be incapable of any recovery (which is now false), and that China was on the cusp and even in the midst of a systemic collapse -- which was patently absurd even in Dec. 2009. There are much better things out there...
