Cloud Atlas - David Mitchell This book is good, not great; with me, 4-stars means the book is good, but flawed. I didn't feel the descent was as good as the ascent, and so the matryoshka structure had an element of gimmick. And one sensed that DM has visiions of Hollywood whike doing the second part of Luisa Rey - i.e., of moola. Glad I read it; but glad, too, to be movin' on.
