How to Paint Like the Impressionists: A Practical Guide to Re-Creating Your Own Impressionist Paintings

How to Paint Like the Impressionists: A Practical Guide to Re-Creating Your Own Impressionist Paintings - Susie Hodge Excellent book

(This is a very interesting book -- much richer than the last 'how-to' book I tried. The author has real insight and explains, by references to various Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters, the actual techniques used -- the book includes large color prints -- and includes details blown-up to the point that you can see the various techniques in action.)

(In search of the holy brush-stroke...)
