Analytic Philosophy: An Historical Introduction,

Analytical Philosophy - Barry R., Gross My professional expertise lies in another period. But as I have cited frequently enough, and in other contexts, what I consider to be the best literature in those areas, I'll avoid them here -- and only list those books that lie in the penumbra of my incompetence -- like everything else I do on goodreads -- but books which I've found especially useful.

This is very introductory book -- by an intelligent and unpretentious writer-- and for that reason is a perfect introduction to the topic of Analytic Philosophy. For those who know nothing or (like me) only a little.
