Jealousy & In the Labyrinth - Alain Robbe-Grillet, Richard Howard, Roland Barthes, Bruce Morisette, Anne Minor I read 'Jealousy', not 'in The Labyrinth'. The book is strangely moving. I had not expected to like (or even understand) Robbe-Grillet - but, in fact, I liked this quite a bit -- though long..., endless discussions of horizontal wall moldings, though I see the point..., is somewhat pointless. Much easier, at any rate, than much of the modernist literature I have tried (often without success) to read of late.
